One year ago today I typed the words “Hello World” and hit the publish button. I was completely new to WordPress and food blogging and I did not know where TKBF would take me. By the numbers, TinyKitchenBigFood.com has:
- grown to 24 published posts
- had 685 visitors
- been featured in an article in the Warren Tribune Chronicle on 10/25/17
- had 5 seconds on local TV news
- was the subject of my talk at WordCamp Kent 2017
- one video on YouTube
- a growing Instagram following (#tinykitchenbigfood)
- done four cooking demonstrations at the Warren Farmers Market
Starting a blog has taught me a lot about myself, my process of writing and my relationship with food.
Some of my goals for year 2 are:
- Improving consistency in posting
- Expanding social media presence
- Setting up a mailing list
I can’t wait to see what happens this year!
